Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
I recently bought these forks to replace some old ones. they are really sturdy and they just feel so right. You have massive tyre clearance for a 2.3 if you ever need to go that wide. And for the price, there's not no other forks that I would reccommend. They 're just a good all round pair of bmx forks.

mounting brakets?

can you confirm this comes with the mounting bits and pieces to mount it to a brake mount integral to the frame? (ie where the bolt holes face right to left). thanks
Hi there, you get the i.s mount with it(interantional standard mount) in the box, the rotor and lever as you would expect. Spare washers and screws also come with these brakes.

Hope this helps.

centre lock rotor

I have centre lock hubs and was going to buy a shimano centre lock rotor to go with this brake. Will it work OK?
Hi there, what you will need to do is change the rotor because the one you get with the elixir's is a six bolt rotor. Any centre lock shimano rotor will fit. They are the same thickness as the avid rotors so you shouldn't get no rub, nor should it be too tight when assembling the brakes. (the gap between the pads and rotor should be perfectly fine)

Hope this helps.

whats louder the female hub or male hub

Generally speaking, male hubs are louder but in all honesty, the louder the hub doesn't neccessarily mean its better. Alot of people have this pre conception that the louder it is, the better it is. It all comes down to the bearings and the hub.

Hope this helps

looking to purchase a MTB as a gift for husband, would this bike also be good on tarmac roads as he would be using it to cycle to work.

Hi there, madam, this would be ideal for your husband for a number of reason. It would perfectly fine on the roads, so if he commutes to and from work, he could change the tryes for slick ones and then keep the slightly thicker ones for trails/mountaining biking. Also, in terms of 'off road' use, it would light enough to 'throw around', but yet, strong enough to endure anything he would throw at it. Also, to put your mind at ease, Cannondale offer a lifetime warraty on frame and forks to the original purchaser.

Hope this helps.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.

does this bike come with pegs and if they do wich ones?

Unfortunately, it doesn't come with pegs, but we would order some for you and fit them for free when you purchase the bike.

does it have a linear cable ?? and is it true they can be spun a couple of times without coming on ?

Hi there, you can spin the bars once without the back brake locking on the rim. This is a seriously nice bmx.

Hope this helps.
