Yes, I recommend this product.
Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
I recently bought these forks to replace some old ones. they are really sturdy and they just feel so right. You have massive tyre clearance for a 2.3 if you ever need to go that wide. And for the price, there's not no other forks that I would reccommend. They 're just a good all round pair of bmx forks.

Is this bike better for trail riding that the kona blast 09?

Could i go on dh runs on the kona blast or this bike?
Hi there, I would probably suggest going for the kona blast because it has a slacker geometry more suited for trails and all mountain material.
With the the scott, they have more of a race geometry, so they come with less travel on the forks.

Hope this helps.

If I had a heavy crash, would the the frame survive or would it trash easily

Hi there, you would be perfectly fine if you was to have a crash. Rocky mountain do offer a crash replacement for carbon frames.

Will this fit my bike

I currently ride a GT Aggressor XC2, as of yet all parts still as standard. Will this be compatible with my bike/chainset?
it would depend on what cranks you have. could you leave another question but be more specific? the bottom bracket would fit in your frame though.

Hope this helps.

will these fit in my trek 1.2

I have recently bought a Trek 1.2 and the brakes suck... I've looked around an people suggest first changing the brake pads before considering changing the calliper brakes...

Question is will this fit into my bike or should i buy the whole replacement cartridge?

Sorry i can't say what exactly my bike currently has on it but heres the link to my bike info:

Hi there, best thing is if you replace the pads for completely new ones. Usually the shoes and pads are stock and tend to be lacking in strentgh, so I would reccomend you change the whole pad.

Look at what I would reccommend.
Hope this helps.

Crank Brothers Cobalt & Iodine wheels

Can they be trued? Is it a similar process to truing regular wheels? What if I broke a spoke. Could I get a new one? Can hubs other than crank brothers be used? Are special tools required for maintenance?
Hello there, the answer to your first question is yes, they can be trued. Because of the style of spokes, they very rarely go out of balance, regardless of how using or abusing them.

They don't take the regular spokes that come on regular mountain bikes, no. They are a set of spokes that only come on this wheelset and the cobalt wheelset. If in the worst case scenario, you were to pop a spoke, we would need to get a few in for you from Crankbrothers themselves. Which would take a few days at most. So in saying that, replacing spokes wouldn't be too much of an issue.

In terms of truing the wheels, they don't have the regular nipples, however, we in store have the right tools to fix and replace spoke accordingly. What I will say is these are one of the most, strongest all mountain bike wheelsets on the market.

If you want more advice on this, or any other product, please feel free to pop into store or ask another question.

Hope this helps.

Can i use XTR M975 Hydraulic Disc Brake Lever on my old XT 4pot caliper?

Hi there, you could use the XTR brake lever to replace your old XT lever. I think you mean Dot, not pot but yes, they take the same fluid. But they can take 4.1 and 5dot.

Hope this helps.

centre lock rotor for this brake?

Can I run this brake with a shimano centre lock rotor of the same diameter to go with this brake. Will it work OK?
Hi there, a shimano centre lock rotor would be the same thickness to the avid rotors, so there would be mnothing to worry about, your pads wouldn't rub (in terms of them kissing it because their too thick) but yes, they would be perfectly fine.

Hope this helps.
