Pros: Good value, Good quality, Lightweight, Looks great
I recently bought these forks to replace some old ones. they are really sturdy and they just feel so right. You have massive tyre clearance for a 2.3 if you ever need to go that wide. And for the price, there's not no other forks that I would reccommend. They 're just a good all round pair of bmx forks.
this frame isn't rubbish, it's one of the best federal products they ever came out with. the forks and handlebars would be two things from federal that I would definitely not recommend.
When working on this frame strength and durability were always at the top of our list, with the way Nathan rides constantly trying to lighten up a frame just didn't make sense. What we have ended up with here is the strongest frame we have produced by thickening up key stress areas, adding custom ovalised downtubes and chain stays for dent resistance, an all new gusset area combined with a longer headtube to provide a stronger junction, and then by trimming down areas that can be done so safely, have come up with a what we feel is a perfect strength - weight ratio.

Hi there, I think with this, it will be a bit too much for commuting to and from work due to its all mountain nature. It offers a really slack geometry aimed for off roading, so probaly not suited for the road use. Can I make a reccomendation, why not try looking at a Specialized Crosstrail. This particular style of bike is a hybrid with mountain bike features. It has 700c wheels so its fast for commuting, secondly, it has slighlty 'beefier' tyres for off roading. Thirdly, you would still get the disc brakes if you were go for model the same price as the lapierre. This would be perfect for what you're after.
